Innovation and Incubation Center

PSRR Innovation & Incubation Centre (PSRRIIC) initiated various activities for the career enhancement of students at different medium like self-employment, start-up initiatives, collaboration with research institutions and other industries through various training programmes. The qualitative and quantitative outcome based ideas are shortlisted and suggested for incubation and development. These ideas are converted into innovative projects and other development activity in the research context. This centre inculcate the culture of innovative research practice, social issues identification, entrepreneurship qualities, creative ideas, business strategies, science & technological development and support to society on Nation building and provides extensive ideas on real time projects by visiting various industries through in-plant training, industrial visit and internship for prospective learners. It is a space for new age entrepreneurs and young minds to transform their innovative ideas into viable business propositions.

To promote & interact with, and resource technology / expertise from faculty members and research scholars and laboratory infrastructure in various departments and centres of the Institute.
To help in getting other kinds of techno-managerial expertise required to the Society
To incubate novel technology and business ideas into viable commercial products or services
To build a vibrant start-up ecosystem, by establishing a network between academia, financial institution, industries and other institutions

Internal Complaint Committee

In pursuance of UGC (Prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions) Regulations, 2015 read with Sexual Harrassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, prohibition and redressal) Act, 2013, Internal Complaints Committee is constituted as under to deal with the complaints relating to Sexual Harassment at work place.

In the event the Committee finds that the allegation(s) against the respondent have been proved, it shall recommend the nature of action to be taken by the Institute.
The following actions may be recommended:

A written apology
Warning
Reprimand or censure
Withholding of promotion
Withholding of pay rise or increments
Undergoing a counseling session
Carrying out of community service
Terminating the respondent from service
Any other punishment according to the service rules applicable to the respondent.

If ICC concludes that the allegations made were false, malicious or the complaint was made knowing it to be untrue or forged or misleading information has been provided during the inquiry, the complainant shall be liable to be punished as per the relevant provision of the aforementioned UGC Regulations 2015.

Reservation(SC-ST-OBC) & Minority Cell

Reservation (SC/ST/OBC) and Minority Cell SC /ST / OBC Cell Establishment of Committee for SC/ ST (As per the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, No. 33 OF 1989, dated 11.09.1989)

Objectives of the Cell:

SC / ST / OBC Cell has been constituted in the Institute to resolve all the affairs and problems related to the SC / ST / OBC Faculty members, Staff, Employees, and Students of the Institute. The cell addresses the following:

All affairs related to SC / ST / OBC.
All affairs related to SC / ST / OBC reservation implemented in the Institute according to Indian Government Policy.
Registering the complaints in writing from SC / ST / OBC faculty members, officers, employees, and students and address it to concerned department, person, section for its peaceful resolution.
The cell ensures the circulation of State Government and UGC’s decisions about different scholarship programs.

Minority Welfare Cell

As per the requirement of AICTE / UGC, the college has Minority Welfare Cell to provide an environment that supports diversity and respects everyone regardless of color, religious belief or cultures and also commits to ensuring protection of everyone including minorities and acting as per the provisions of constitution of India in such matters.

The Cell will take care of Minorities with respect to:-. a) The Minority cell will help students and faculty belonging to religious minority including Christian, Muslim, Jain etc. for their academic development. b) The committee will educate all the students, parents about various scholarship schemes available for all minorities under state and central government. c) The committee will help students to get education loans through various minority trusts.
